Our concern from the onset has been that the development of knowledgeable children who have self-discipline and love is becoming elusive, even in the midst of many versions of energy-sapping childcare methods.
We, therefore, set out to develop, apply and communicate sound child-development practices for optimal results anywhere the child exists, including the home and school. Discipline and knowledge with love have been our core values.
The debut of our childcare publications in the passioninparenting blog 7 years ago was particularly exciting. It provided a platform for silent discussions to be amplified. Many adults who needed a role model to align with to improve their childcare practices heaved sighs of relief each time I referred them to the passioninparenting blog.
Initially, our primary focus was on parenting at home, but at a stage in our journey, our vision evolved into a wider concept – My Child and I – for application everywhere the child exists, including the home and school. We have engaged in My Child and I magazine publication and currently working on the My Child and I book series. My Child and I Ideals WhatsApp group has been able to attract and influence many adults, especially parents and teachers from different backgrounds. These adults now share the same purpose of constantly seeking for improvement in the knowledge, understanding and skill for rewarding childcare experiences.
We are also making progress in the area of training and workshops for adults who care for children. We are glad that our structured Children Behaviour Guidance training package has helped to reduce violence, restore normalcy and improve self-regulation in many homes and schools.
The passioninparenting blog is grateful to all our readers, especially those who are not just applying improved childcare methods but going the extra mile to influence others through knowledge sharing.
Together, we will make our world a better place for proper childcare and development.
